What a wonderful year for me – I had my first two nieces born within the space of 3 months.  Evelyn born in April 2014 and Emma 3 months later in July.   We decided to have a family bbq in Bracknell, to celebrate me and my brother’s birthdays – which are only a day apart.  On a lovely summer bank holiday weekend, my brother Alan, his wife Ying and baby Emma travelled across from Bristol, my sister Christine, her husband Dom and baby Evelyn came up from Devon.  My mum was there and my uncle Paul travelled down from Bedfordshire.  Uncle Pete and his family couldn’t make it this time. Uncle Paul saw his great-nieces for the first time too, how lovely it was – he enjoyed meeting them both.  We took pictures and had a great laugh.  A memorable day that I could never forget.
