I booked a trip to Cornwall for when my aunts came across to UK to celebrate my brother’s wedding. As it was the end of March it was slightly chilly and not yet warmed up for spring.  We stayed in a lovely house near St Austell close to Eden Project – where the family could get together; to cook and talk for hours on end….and I mean hours.

I took them to St Michael’s Mount in Marazion, and we also visited Eden Project – just for something different and still touristy …and as it turned out, it was a bonus, as they wanted to stay warm indoors, there was a hot climate zone (very hot and humid – ideal for desert plants – not natively found at all in the UK).  It was a fun time and I managed to get 5-day trip out of it as I was the mini-van driver for the party.
